I spent 15+ years building the invisible plumbing that helps marketing and sales actually talk to each other — audience segmentation, attribution, martech stacks, and the occasional miracle where Sales and Marketing agree on what a “qualified lead” even is. Most recently, I ran Demand & Digital Operations for the Americas at JLL, a $20B commercial real estate firm, where my team turned a mess of disconnected systems into well-oiled machine attributing $4B in annual revenue. Before that, I developed my skills at CDW, redefining lead management and implementing Oracle-Eloqua marketing automation.
I enjoy a wide range of disciplines which started with my unusual double major in economics and studio art followed by some time learning industrial design. Since then, I designed and made toys, developed and ran restaurants, spent years selling technology and then went deep into demand generation, the tech tools and teams that enable it. I have used these skills along with my love of developing teams to help enterprise companies like CDW and JLL evolve their chaotic Marketing and Sales technology stacks into powerful and profitable revenue operations machines. These days I split my time between learning and sharing about RevTech, MarTech, SalesTech, demand gen, and data & analytics here, and running my own hand-made product business, SuperFlowYo — which is a fun way to organize all my crazy creative projects.
This blog is where I put the ideas that don’t fit neatly into a boardroom deck: what’s actually working in AI-enabled marketing ops (and what’s vendor smoke), why most attribution models lie to you a little, and why the best systems are the ones your team can actually stand to use. I try to write like I talk — a straight shooter, not too serious, occasionally sarcastic, and generally allergic to jargon that doesn’t earn its keep.
If you’re wrestling with a martech stack that’s outgrown its architecture, a lead funnel that Sales quietly doesn’t trust, or a “should we use AI for this” question with no good answer yet — I take on a limited number of consulting projects each year. No hard pitch here; if it sounds like a fit, my contact info is on the Consulting page.
